The hotel formerly known as the Amerisuites Hotel, completed a $5 million renovation last July and is now the unique boutique Hotel Indigo. Hotel features "Phi" Bar & Restaurant and Starbucks coffee bar through the "We Proudly Brew" program. Guests amenities include indoor heated pool, "Phitness" center, business center, room service and complimentary wireless internet access. Guest suites include 32" flat-panel TV, MP3-player alarm clocks, spa-inspired showers, Aveda products, sofa sleepers (most suites), refrigerators, coffeemakers, Andis hairdryers, work desks with smart lamps, hardwood floors & area rugs. Over 30 casual & fine-dining restaurants, Westfield Hawthorn Mall, Zanies Comedy Club, Chuck E Cheese, Whirlyball and 2 movie theaters located within 1 mile of hotel.
 
Rates start at $89.00 for the Vernon Hills Cougar Youth Athletic Association tournaments.  All of the rooms in the hotel are suites which offer 750 square feet of separate living and sleeping space.  The King suites can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people per room utilizing the sofa sleeper.  The 2 double bed suites can accommodate up to six people per room inclusive of the sofa sleeper, as well.
