This is the home page of the Vernon Hills Junior Cougars Boys Feeder Basketball Teams. We are an organization committed to the development of both team and individual basketball skills for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys planning to attend Vernon Hills High School.

Cougar Girl's Basketball
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for girls that will attend Vernon Hills High School to participate in an organized competitive basketball program for Grades 5 through 8, against similarly organized teams. We will develop each player to engage in a competitive level of basketball. We believe in giving girls a firm foundation in the many individual and team skills required to be a strong basketball player.

The North Suburban Fast Pitch League was organized in 1991 to promote competitive fast pitch play in Chicago's north suburban area. The NSFPL recognizes the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) as the authoritative national governing body and follows ASA rules on the field. For 2009, there were 128 teams competing in the 10-U, 12-U and 14-U age groups, in multiple competitive divisions
